Town Hall presents a wide spectrum of performances, lectures, musical events, etc. It is one of New York City's best resources!

Came here to see Max Richter. Mr. Richter and ACME were great. However, an amazing evening was ruined because the venue allows people to take pictures. So if you are there to enjoy a show, be prepared to deal with bumpkins taking pictures and using...More

I've been to Town Hall 3 times, and they seem to be right when they say there isn't a bad seat in the house. 1500 seats. I haven't sat in the balcony yet. There was no problem with the acoustics at any of the events....More

Saw Roger McGuin, Chris Hillman and Marty Stewart Sweethearts if the Rodeo. Great vintage rock and a little country music concert. They sounded really good, and musicians were fabulous. Glad I went, bug hated paying $14 for a beer.

Great location, but just like many other older venues, Town Hall needs more restroom facilities for women. Also, due to security (which is important), many people had to stand out in the rain waiting for the security check to open and then file people through...More

Beautiful space. Staff was very nice. For the bad: Seating is super uncomfortable and tight. I’m 5’10” and my knees hit the chair in front of me. It’s $15 for a beer, which comes in a mandatory plastic, reusable cup. After that refills are $9....More

Sure, nice venue and all that, but they charge $10 for a soda! That must be a world record. The barkeep proudly told me their soda costs more than even Yankee Stadium. Gee, thanks. The $10 apparently includes a free re-fill, but the line at...More

There was free seating and some disappointment when the lower level was all occupied. Reluctantly made my way upstairs ...which was empty but got front row seats right in the middle. Made for much better viewing - spacious theatre, got audio visual systems. Car parking...More
