We stumbled off the cruise ship trying to figure out how to get to The Brooklyn Bridge and landed at the ferry terminal! Best $2.75 you can spend in NYC. professional staff, informative, helpful, and professional, clean ferries and lots of them...You can't go wrong.

If you haven't taken a ferry in NYC, you're missing out. They're comfortable, affordable, and many have food and drinks for sale. Depending on where you're going, it can be pretty quick, sometimes faster than train. Upper deck is great for photo ops.

A very cool way to get from points in Manhattan to several spots in Brooklyn with a great view of many historic locations. The ferries even have great beer on tap! And at $2.75 per trip it's the least expensive sightseeing in the city!

Don't know how this would be for serious commute, but for fun on a breezy day--so cool! You pay $2.75 per trip. You have to get off if it's the "end of the line" (Soundview in the Bronx, Wall Street, etc) but you can transfer...More

Wall St to Rockaway Beach -- cheap and a relaxing experience. Vessel coming back was new and was a big step up.

Aug 2018 - Soundview, Bronx, NY. The NYC Ferry ride was great, and you can’t beat the price $2.75. The inside of the boat was clean and had a snack area that serves chips, candy, beer, coffee etc; and had air conditioned. However, the older...More

Anytime I have the chance to take the ferry I do. The staff is pleasant and the views can't be beat. So much better than being in the hot subway.

We were hot, sweaty and tired in Brooklyn's DUMBO area. Walking over that bridge didn't look like fun anymore, and we had done enough sweating on subway platforms for a day. So I put a hat on it and bought tickets for the NYC ferry...More

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
