We stumbled off the cruise ship trying to figure out how to get to The Brooklyn Bridge and landed at the ferry terminal! Best $2.75 you can spend in NYC. professional staff, informative, helpful, and professional, clean ferries and lots of them...You can't go wrong.
If you haven't taken a ferry in NYC, you're missing out. They're comfortable, affordable, and many have food and drinks for sale. Depending on where you're going, it can be pretty quick, sometimes faster than train. Upper deck is great for photo ops.
A very cool way to get from points in Manhattan to several spots in Brooklyn with a great view of many historic locations. The ferries even have great beer on tap! And at $2.75 per trip it's the least expensive sightseeing in the city!
