The performance & story define heartwarming...this was our #1 pick for our NYC visit, we weren’t wrong. As west coast Canadians, we are proud of our ‘east coast’ sisters & brothers, they solidify what it means to be Canadian. Bravo!!!
Wow. This show is entertaining from start to finish. It’s funny, moving, brings a tear to your eye, really showcases an incredible story and is a broadway show that shouldn’t be missed.
It’s 100 minutes with no intermission. We were really concerned that if we...More
And we're happy we did. If you're expecting the usual big, brassy Broadway musical with songs you'll remember long after you leave the theater, this show is probably not for you. This is the true story of 9-11-2001 as viewed by passengers rerouted to Gander,...More
-heads up, there’s no intermission-
(But don’t worry, it flies by)
So glad we got rush tickets to this show. It was moving, fun, compelling, nostalgic, patriotic, international, and restores your faith in humanity.
Based on the true story of the small Canadian town that...More
I had started to hear a buzz about this show, so glad I followed my intuition. It was simply outstanding. Beautiful true story about what happened to the folks in the air on September 11,2001. It’s 1:45 minutes without intermission. No different than how long...More
We saw this wonderful show on a trip to NYC. We had heard the great reviews and being Canadians we wanted to see this show. We remember hearing about Gander’s influx of planes during 9/11 but it seems the story got buried among the overwhelming...More
This performance proves one can make great show with dozen of people on stage (playing multiple roles) and minimal design. The story is heart catching, sometimes you laugh, sometimes you have tears in your eyes. The music is great, but - I should say -...More
This play is unique to say the least. Minimal set doesn’t change. Each cast member plays multiple parts
An emotional roller coaster ride given the terrorist attack on NYC it is based on
Great music. Dialogue a bit difficult to understand at times
This performance is wonderful. So much talent on the stage and behind the scenes! It will make you laugh, cry, and tap your toes. It will make you want to visit Newfoundland. The story is wonderful. The casting is perfect. The staging is ingenious. The...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I got my tickets from the box office, which is usually easier if you live in New York City and it is a popular show. otherwise, i recommend using Telecharge, as mentioned above, if you are an out of towner, even though it'll add $15 or more per ticket for service charges.
i typically recommend avoiding other "theater for sale sites" unless you think you're getting a real good deal and willing to pay the price.
Come from Away is a popular show and probably won't be discounting tickets any time soon and may be hard to get tickets day of the show or a couple of days out if you are coming into town during the busy tourist season.
but whatever you do - get tickets. it's my favorite show, easily, of the past 6-7 years.
