We were an unsuspecting family of four (two parents and two teens) who came with little knowledge of the production and were utterly delighted. We happened to score a table in the front row which meant we were practically on stage and part of all...More

Can’t understand the rave reviews. Ham acting, slapstick comedy with bad jokes that fall flat, add extremely uncomfortable seats and awful wine at the bar. Don’t waste your money!

When you walk in, grab a drink from the bar (alcohol, juice, water, soda) and a snack, find your table and enjoy the fun festive crowd. The first half of the play set the scene for a mystery, the second half is where the audience...More

I saw it two nights in a row while traveling through Boston. Enjoyed so much the first night that I immediately bought a ticket to see it a second time. I was curious to see if the mystery was solved differently the second night, and...More

Everyone is close to the stage. Lots of laughs and you can be involved as much or as little as you like. The cast was awesome! Some funny improv off of audience questions. We had a great time - so glad we went!

I could not stop laughing. Every actor in Shear Madness was incredibly talented and incredibly funny. The interaction with the audience was well managed. The theatre was intimate and perfect for the show. Can't recommend highly enough!

I have seen this twice on trips to Boston and it is brilliant, the actors stay in their roles during intermission when inter-acting with the audience, the jokes are updated regularly so you can return time and time again and find a fresh show. I...More

I attended this show as a teacher with a group of grade 10 students. It was phenomenal for adults and teenagers alike. It was two hours of non-stop laughing, with up-to-date material that is constantly being changed depending on current trends and news stories. There...More

Great interactive play! The audience sits up close and personal. The actors we saw were awesome, from the ad libbing to their facial expressions.

Hilarious live-action comedy/murder mystery. Some of the jokes were above the heads of our 12 and 14 year olds, but overall we all had a great time. Such a nice cozy environment. Was it luxurious and sophisticated? - no but this is irreverent comedy with...More
