I live on MDI in the summer and love it. So much hiking and biking! Our family has been coming up here for over 20 years. We used to camp in Blackwoods but now our enough to have a home on the quiet side.

Depends on amount you want to be outdoors/amount you want to spend. Personally: Drive the Park Loop Road ... take a day (stop for views/short walks/see Sand Beach). Drive up Cadillac Mountain. Day 2: rent bikes and enjoy... More

Drive the park loop road. Rent bikes if you aren't bringing your own and bike the carriage roads, or take a horse drawn carriage ride on them. Visit Northeast an Southwest Harbors. Eat lunch at eat a pita in SW Harbor... More
