This is a wonderful, safe swimming beach where you can also snorkel, stand up paddleboard, kayak and fish. It's a nice easy walk out to the point for ocean views and tidepooling. The homeless who camp nearby have never bothered us. We love this tranquil...More

Had the best time swimming in the cove to the right of the rock jetty, where we saw schools of stripped mullet jumping 4-feet out of the water and enjoyed the antics of young locals jumping from the rocks into the water and people learning...More

Avoid the stinking bathroom full of junkies at all costs. Also the filthy outdoor shower. Walk down the beach to the military beach 200yd. Or stay in front of the lifeguard stands. Locals get violent if you sit or swim in front of the canoes....More

Get a take out lunch and bring your lawn chairs and spend the day. Lots of people doing SUP, kids playing in the surf. Excellent local spot.

A lovely, local beach that is protected from large waves. Great place to bring small children. Also take a stand up paddle board lesson with George, a wonderful local man.
