One of the better hikes to do that isn't as packed as other main hikes or trails. When we went it was a little muddy, but not a difficult hike at all.

Well I'm 4 months prego and decided that I could do this trail. I was wrong. I'm healthy and run about 3 miles a day before baby and now about 1ish with baby inside but this trail was hard. You do a lot of climbing...More

If you are in ohau and like to find places that are not too crowded with tourest then this is a great place to go. The drive is about 30min north of Waikiki. The hike down to the waterfalls and pools is about 1.5 miles...More

My husband and I decided to try out this hike. We went 3 days after a rainy day (15cm of rain). This would guarantee us clean water in the pools and a running fall! Be prepared for a difficult, slippery and muddy hike. At slow...More

This was another sensational trail that really worked my cardio and upper arms as there were ropes involved in order to make it safely to the pool, especially since it was raining majority of the time.

The walk is surrounded by beautiful hawaiian forest that was super lush and dense when we went. As it had been raining the past few days the falls were very fast and the river was full. We met some other visitors who showed us photos...More

This is an AMAZING trail. The views are beautiful and the pools at the end are so much fun (if you time your hike for a sunny day after there has been rain). That said, it's a difficult hike for beginners and small kids. There...More

On Apr 5, 2017, there was no water over falls and pool was stagnant. Disappointing after the challenge to get there. For first mile, fairly easy trail. After that, downhill and muddy. Last 1/2 mile is scrambling over rocks on steep decline. Would be beautiful...More

Yes it's safe. The upper pool is probably safer for kids, as it is not deep enough for adults to swim in. The lower pool is adequate for adults to swim in, and there is a gradual decline so no need for hesitations, if you... More

The manana trail versus the waterfall is clearly marked by a sign. The only time we weren't sure which way to go was when we got close to the falls- there is a T in the trail- take the left to the falls. There were a FEW... More
