Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

"Our time at the PCC what is the best part of our entire trip to O’ahu. Breath of lLife was probably the most spectacular show we have seen. It was absolutely mesmerizing. With the amount of energy and effort put forth, we can’t believe they do that daily. Pure artists and exceptional performers. Beautiful culture. Thank you for the experience. "

Ha: Breath of Life is a must see for locals and tourist alike. I am amazed at the brilliance of the cast none of which are professionally trained though hours of practice and guidance say otherwise, yet they put on a performance depicting a story that resonates to every human being, that of the Family with such heart and soul. Major props to the students, leaders, dance instructors, best musicians and drummers! Lastly, a huge "cheehoo" to the twin sisters powerful fire knife performance that left me in awe of them and I'm sure to everyone else that watched them twirl with power and finesse!

For us this was the highlight of our trip to the PCC. The show was a wonderful representation of growing up in the polynesian culture. The PCC has become 6 island nations all doing basically same presentations on song and dance. Luckily for us Ha Breath of Life salvaged our day at the PCC.

Amazing culture, music, dancing, drumming, fire twirling performance. The PCC really did a great job capturing the spirit of the islands and family. Made me cry several times. Wish we could’ve taken some pictures though....

An energetic, professional performance, made me feel proud to be Polynesian. It's family-friendly, so suitable for children.

You can actually feel the heat from the volcano and mist of water from the waterfall backdrop, if you are near the front. It took me by surprise.

I am glad that they ask people not to take photos or videos, there is nothing worse than sitting in a dark theatre and having the light from someone's phone shining back at you.

this may well have been the highlight of our few days in a transit visit through Honolulu. This is really well done. Having visited the various Polynesian villages earlier in the day helped our appreciation for what was contained in the show. This definitely didn't disappoint

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right luau for our first and probably only trip to Hawaii. After tons of research, I was happy to find I could get it attached to my visit to the Polynesian Center, along with a dinner.

I don't have good enough words to explain how impressive this show is. A luau, to my understanding, is a show that tells a story, and many of them involve music and fire. Of the ones on offer at Oahu, most of them are "modernized" whereas this one is pretty hardcore traditional. And amazing. There's modern execution but it's all traditional things going on. The fire part at the end had several of my familys' mouths hanging open...it's just stunning.

I loved being able to go and talk with the performers after, most of whom are students at the local college. Highly recommend!

The show was incredible the story was captivating and the music was fantastic it felt like you were growing up with the characters as you watched. It was truly inspirational and gave a whole other meaning to the word “life” I wanted to watch it over and over after it was finished but there’s nothing like seeing it for the first time. You could feel the emotion and life illuminating of the stage. If your in the area you have to go and watch for yourself no review could ever do it justice

Very nice show, framed through a man’s life from Childhood to Adulthood. Touches on many of the different cultures that are part of the Polynesian cultural center. The Fire Knife dancing appears to be the highlight and is well worth it. That said, I wouldn’t see it again, but I’m glad I saw it once.

Seating is stadium style and I didn’t feel like there really was a bad seat in the house. Perhaps could have been better up close, but I didn’t feel like I missed anything.
