We spent half the day here frolicking in and out of the water. The beach is clean and has plenty of FREE parking and bathrooms. The waves are gentle (we were there early November) so good for all ages. Definitely recommended if you are looking...More

We stayed in Kailua for 5 nights after visiting here in 2014. It has been really windy every day but it is still really beautiful. Not as enjoyable on the beach due to the wind but the water temperature is still beautiful. There are quite...More

I enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the parasailers. Easy walk up and down with no trash which is a nice change from Korean beaches. Not crowded when I went late afternoon. Too rough for snorkeling but perfect for boogie boarding, surfing and sailing.

Pristine waters, clean beach, paradise for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Excellent water temperature, gentle waves so good for kids. And relatively quiet, which was a real surprise. There are trees for shade and a little mall for drinks and pizza close by. Perfect for a day...More

My Husband and I had a great time hanging on the "East Side". It was a beautiful day, not crowded and very welcoming. Will definitely come here again in the future

Having been to many beaches all around the world, the one thing I never tire of living in Hawaii is how lucky we are to have the most beautiful ones. That isn't to say each beach is created equal. In my mind, Lanikai may be...More

Water is warm, and a lovely colour blue, but it is so windy that after two hours I was exhausted from just sitting on the beach. Lots of kite surfers enjoying the wind though.

This is a beautiful beach park. Very close to Lanikai Beach. The views are gorgeous. Nice little area to picnic, and there are bathrooms and a place to wash your sand off. Parking lot fills up pretty quickly. Close to main part of town.

Soft sand, calm waters and beautiful views. Perfect beach without the crowds. Easy access and good amount of parking a rare commodity in Oahu.

Yes you ‘can’ do all of the above. But the only surfing to be done is off of flat island 1/4 mile off of the beach. Snorkeling is better at other beaches, sharks cove and electric beach are a couple good ones. Swimming is... More
