Parking was not a problem at the Kapalua end at 6:45 but would have been at 8:30. Wonderful views, all good footing except a couple hundred yards of lava rock trail.

We’ve done this trail a couple of times; it’s very scenic and we always enjoy it. Park at D.T Fleming Beach and walk it backwards to avoid the hassle at the Kahana beach park. Take note that there is absolutely no shade on this trail...More

This provided great views and was an easy walk with our 1 year old. If we did not have our baby, we may have wanted a more adventurous trail.

Was looking a nice hour or so hike. What a great surprise this was. Easy to get to, not a hard hike at all, and the best was seeing sea turtles in one of the lagoons. The scenery was breathtaking. Truly made my day.

3.5 mile walk with a fair amount of clmbing over a rock trail. Spectacular views. We parked at Fleming Beach and walked through the Ritz Carlton property to get to the trailhead. Fairly strenuous workout but very pretty scenery.

There is no charge to walk along the trail. It is very easy path - mostly dirt with some boardwalk areas and a few steps. We had no problem with finding parking but it is limited - mostly at the side of the road with a... More

not sure -- the board walk is only a short portion of the train -- the rest is "off-road" but well worn - you can also do what we do which is deviate from the path and follow the shore line. This involves more climbing up... More

Addition to my previous post. Did not see the buses running while we were there, so can't help with buses.
