The Spouting Horn is one of the most photographed sites in Kauai. At least, that is what we were told. Personally, I think the Napali Coast or Waimea Canyon would prove more spectacular, but that's just me. This is a blow hole. When the ocean...More

We have visited the Spouting horn 3 times in the previous 6 years. We were there this November and were surprised that the original source of the Spouting Horn has been altered, making the hole in the rock much larger and the effect not as...More

Oh pleeeeez. This was such a let down. The enormous crowds of cruise ship visitors and the tacky row of gift shop junk you have to walk by to see the little blow hole and hear the toot is just painful. Skip this at all...More

We enjoyed seeing Spouting Horn. It is the ocean spouting up through rocks. It is never the same. It depends on the waves. Fun to watch. There is ample free parking. There is a fence around the viewing area so it is save with kids....More

When we visited last week, it had just started to rain a bit. Still the spout was great off and on. Even the vendors there had interesting items.

The surf ok but not great so didn’t blow as much as we would have liked it to do. Still great scenery surrounding it and some shops with tourist type wares.

If you’re in the area worth a quick 5 mins but not the most exhilarating thing to do, I’ve spouted bigger myself, but worth a listen. If you enjoy water squirting out of holes, this might be for you!

Worth a stop if you are in the area. Just don't get to close unless you hold onto your hat! Probably not a destination by itself but you can visit the local beaches and make a day of it.
