PLANT LOVERS, ARTISTS and BEAUTY AFICIONADOS.... do NOT miss this! What a jewel!!! You will not believe the interwoven affect of this abundance of exotic plants... carefully selected but wildly and unusually placed for an overall “otherworldly” affect. Such an usual, gorgeous and fascinating garden....More

We had Dave as our tour guide and he was fantastic. He's been there for almost 50 years and is an expert arborist and knows so much about the native and introduced species on the islands. But, the best part of the tour is when...More

We took the sunset tour with dinner at the house in the valley. What a lovely evening! Our guide Tenji seemed to know everything about everything and had a wicked sense of humor. We took the bus down and then walked to the Allerton house....More

This is a delightful tour of the magnificent Allerton gardens. It was educational and breathtakingly beautiful. Don't forget the bug spray... you'll be glad you had it. Probably a tad expensive for what it is, but still glad we gave it a try.

Interesting guided tour through a fantastic 'garden'. Got to see plantings of exotic trees and flowers, as well as taste some fruit from all over the world. Our guide (Bobby) shared a wealth of knowledge about the garden. Enjoyable afternoon.

Fabulous tour guide, she told us so many things about the land, the garden, the island. And then she let us venture forth on our own, what fun to explore this paradise. A variety of different paths, we had no trouble seeing all of them...More

I have done the guided tour twice. Both times it was very enjoyable. The Allerton gardens are very well designed, with a guide that drives you to the different sections, with short walks into different 'rooms' of the gardens. The whole place is peaceful with...More

Our second time here, the first was 10 years ago on our honeymoon. Our guide Michael was very good. We took an early (9 AM) tour, so we didn't get eaten alive by mosquitos (if you don't have insect repellent, they sell it for $...More

The tour we took, which was a guided tour, used a small (15 passenger ) bus. There was some walking when the bus stopped at various locations but many opportunities to rest.
