Enjoyed spending some time on this beach. Climbed up the rock to take pictures. Nice views from the top of the rock.

It's a nice beach, next to Grand Hyatt, pretty rocks nearby, and pretty green plants with flowers on the beach. And some tiny bugs flying around which I don't like that much.

Shipwreck beach is unique because it has good waves for surfing or boogie boarding on one end and smaller, calmer waves for just sitting or for younger kids on the other end. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt so it was very easy access and...More

Red flags are always flying here by the Grand Hyatt which is adjacent to this beach. The red flags mean....do not go into the water. The water is real rough and the is an undercurrent. It is a great beach to just sit, relax and...More

This is a beautiful beach and great for sunset. The Mahaulepu Trail starts here as well which we definitely recommend. Or for those who want just a short stroll, you can take the paved path from the hotel and go west for a little ways...More

Nice beach on the south side, adjacent to the Hyatt. Sand was smooth, waves were great. There is cliff diving at the end of the beach (i think you hike through a short forest path to get there). People seem to love doing it but...More

We hired Flyphotography to take pictures for our vacation. This beach was a perfect location. Very pretty beach.

This beach is a beautiful unspoiled beach with clean sand and a few rocky areas. There is no lifeguard on duty so take care - not really a swimming beach but beautiful to visit for the views and natural environment.

Awesome trail to walk with a beautiful view. Really enjoyed it. Would love to go back one day. It was not crowded at all.

Small parking lot, it is a local beach. Rough surf, but a hurricane was approaching (Lane). No lifeguards, use at own risk. Rocks in the surf.

Agree. Poipu Beach. Keep in mind the currents do change so ask the life guards for safety information. It's usually posted but the lifeguards are so open to communicating information.

Drive past the Hyatt and take the road to the right between the Hyatt and the golf course. Shipwreck Beach parking lot is at the end.

I'm sorry I can't help you. We went as a hiking group from Vancouver Island and were self directed. I didn't notice any guided groups of hikers.
