I’ve been to a number of Luau’s in my visits to Hawaii (mostly in Maui). This experience far exceeded any of those. Situated on a large piece of land off the main road between the south side of the island and Lihue, the relatively large...More

We bought tickets to see this show, without the buffet, ahead of time online. On the day of our show it was very rainy and we were feeling lazy, but the place refused to refund us our tickets, no matter how much we pleaded. We...More

I am not a bid fan of large buffet dining. This was no different, the food was adequate, but nothing special. The dinks were included and very tasty. Walking around to see the local vendors before the show was great. We did find some good...More

We booked the gold package with the train tour. This is a very well run professional operation. Our evening started with the train tour which lasts 40 minutes and includes a stop to feed the animals onsite. They provide bread to feed them. The train...More

This review is specifically for the Plantation Owner's Dinner and the Luau. First, the positive...the performers in the Luau were in it heart and soul. I've seen better luau performances technically but these performers truly love their heritage and it shows. The venue itself was...More

My family enjoyed a wonderful evening at Luau Kalamaku! We started with the train ride thru the Plantation. The food was good but the show was phenomenal! We were seated very close and thoroughly enjoyed the story line. The drinks were delicious as well. I...More

This luau not only has great food but a theatrical type of entertainment that tells a story while being exciting and visually appealing.

The Luau Kalamaku was an exciting event and the performance was amazing. The show provided us with a better understanding of the Hawaiian culture and past, and the cast performed their roles with emotion and flare. One of our most memorable events on the Island....More

We absolutely loved this luau experience! We had enjoyed an all day tour through the NCL Pride of America shore excursions ending up at the luau. It is a delightful area. Local artisans and extensive gardens to enjoy. Got there ahead of others to enjoy...More

We did not find the entertainment to be really loud and we sat in the front row next to the stage. There were lots of young children present who appeared to enjoy the show. I believe the show was over by 9pm.
