The wife & I needed a 2 day break, so we went to the Wilderness. We usually go to one of the smaller motels in town, but everything else was booked. I'm glad we went to the Wilderness instead for a change. Check in was...More

Stayed in a cabin, beautiful and big. Everyone was so helpful and nice. I didn't want to leave, slept on the couch and woke up to a deer right outside our door. I really felt like I was in the wilderness. The water park was...More

We are a family of four with children ages 4 and 6. We stopped in Wisconsin Dells for one night (actually about 26 hours) in July while driving from Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Here are some tips for those new to the resort: - When you...More

All 4 of my granddaughters prefer this particular waterpark to any other either at The Wilderness or elsewhere.

This is the third time visiting the Dells and first time staying at this resort. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The place is big and there's a lot of things to do for both young and the young at hearts. It's...More

The staff is very helpful. The room was clean, the beds comfy and the pillows, ohhh so nice. The food is a bit spendy at the munchie shops on site, but fair sized portions so its all good. The wave pool was well maned, so...More

Great amenities, expensive, felt it was geared more towards families with younger kids vs. teenagers! Out door water parks closed early. Very clean!

We've enjoyed our stays in the Wilderness territory, especially as the kids of our families get a little older. The variety of water fun (from Lilly Pads and bucket-dumps to Thrill Rides) and spread out water park areas makes this a great place from family...More

Yes, I had a great time at the Wilderness Territory. There are many different rooming options which are spread out over a huge area (a little confusing). These would include the hotel, Wyndom ownership, villas, "cabins", adult spa stay location, etc. Having said that, the...More

We stayed at the Glacier Canyon Lodge which is a part of the Wilderness, and this is a very large resort. They share part of this resort with Wyndham time share. Check in certainly takes longer than your typical hotel. We had a 2 queen/sofa...More

I saw a huge ropes course that was inside. Many of the water parks are inside. I think there is mini golf, bumper boats, laser tag, and indoor go carts. They also have a small workout facility. There is also indoor shopping... More
