Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went there with our friends and our daughters and had a horrible experience. The staff mainly the person at the front desk was completely rude from the start. There was a misunderstanding and when we tried to get it resolved the guys immediately started yelling at us and using profanity in front of our kids. When I asked to speak to the manager he told me to go and find him myself and he called the “security” guy and told him to make us leave. I was never disrespectful towards this individual and felt completely humiliated and my daughter was scared. Just completely unacceptable actions from the staff and the conditions of the whole place are poor and filthy.

We felt we couldn’t go to Milwaukee without a game of bowling so we decided to come here.
You pay $4.50 per game and $2.50 for shoe rental. There is an arcade too and pool tables.
The mosaic in the toilets is beautiful - shame it was so dirty.

We only took advantage of the bowling. Our family of four enjoyed 2 games. The staff helped us out with our 8 year old and switched our lane to one with bumper guards. Nice facility in a declining area.

For a glimpse into the past, this place is 'the cats meow.'
Now the times of competitive bowling here are long gone, but for a unique experience it's worth the trip down to steps into the basement.
These alleys have above ground ball returns that rumble as the ball sways back and forth on its return trip. The huge ceiling supports between every couple of alleys adds the distraction factor. Soundproofing? Haha. Not here!
The bar and bathrooms are another glimpse into the history of this place. The bar is huge with ornate woodwork in the dark speakeasy style. The bathrooms adorned with mosaic tiling, including in the 'waiting room' where towels and toiletries were once dispensed.
There's a nice arcade available too.
Good afternoon visit, even if you're not a bowler.

Plenty of lanes, unlike many classic Milwaukee historic bowling alleys. Nice adjacent bar. Near Oriental Theater and Von Trier restaurant/bar.

This classic bowling alley made me feel like I had been Rolled into one of my dad's old stories about his bowling league years. Classic flooring, open ball return rails, and a real nostalgic feel to the entire place. Right down to shoes that look like they are from the Big Lebowski.

There is an arcade here! This was a great find. We stopped by when we had an hour or two to kill, and really dug this place. There's air hockey, skeeball, and a bunch of other older arcade games. There's also Big Buck Hunter, if that's your thing. I was happy to find this place, even though it's like walking down some stairs into the 80s. The place is definitely divey, but everyone was real nice. The lanes were also pretty full, and the bar was hopping with a private party.
The bathrooms were pretty gross, but the decor/tile hadn't been updated since at least the 60s, so they were definitely a cool time capsule.

I bowled at the Landmark Lanes for many of years and the place has changed owners a few times. They finally updated the center for the better, with new Lanes automatic scoring and new shoes, thank god. It still does smell like mold in the center as it did years ago. I guess somethings will never change. Looking some fun, go and check it out.

Landmark's a cool laid back spot to hit when you're looking for something to do on the east side. It's right next to the Oriental Theater so it's perfect to visit before or after seeing a film.
When in the North/Farwell area be sure to stop into Landmark. Among other games, they have Ms. Pac Man, Air Hockey, pool tables and of course bowling lanes.
