I'm not normally one to go online and write a review, but felt compelled to in this case because the service and experience provided by EMH was simply amazing.

I was bought a helicopter trial lesson for my birthday (£170.00 for 30 mins in an R22), this was purchased directly through East Midlands Helicopter's website as it was better value for money than going through other sites such as Red Letter Days/Virgin Experiences etc....More
East Midlands helicopters were fantastic, we was a group of 8 ladies who were nervous as hell about the helicopter ride, the pilot let us take lots of pictures before and during the ride. The pilot was very friendly and made the ride enjoyable.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your kind words. We're delighted you enjoyed your flight and hope to fly you and your friends again in the future.
February the 2nd I had a one hour trial lesson with Nick! From start to finish a very engaging and thorough experience into helicopter flight.
There was a reasonable briefing in the offices which took into consideration aptitude and the science of flight. Although this...More

Thanks for your question. We are quite flexible in what can be done on the 2 options and will try to customise the experience to allow the customer to get what they want out of it. Some customers only want to have a quick go on the controls and fly over somewhere they know (if he wants to fly over Melton Mowbray I would recommend an hour, 30 minutes wouldn't allow for much time near Melton Mowbray before having to turn back), whereas others want to have as much of a go on the controls as possible. It really depends on what he would like out of the experience. If you think he would be interested in taking the controls for a fair amount of time, the hour obviously allows us a lot more time and it wouldn't feel as rushed, but if it's just the experience of being in a helicopter, 30 minutes might be more suitable. Having said that I don't think anyone has got bored flying a helicopter for an hour!
I hope this helps.
