Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

South Charleston Antique Mall is one of the best antique stores we have visited. It is in a former furniture building with high ceilings and is three stories. The individual vendors offer a variety of antiques and collectibles. There is something for everyone there and it is a picker's paradise.

I love coming in here whenever I have some free time to kill. The prices are not outrageous and the stuff is good quality not yard sale fodder. The people who work here are not pushy and let you browse without trying to make a sell. If your down by the mound and have some free time this place is definitely worth a stop.

My mom and I frequently go here as we love to explore its numerous floors and find it to be a peaceful but entertaining experience. The staff is always nice, too.

A waste of time for the real antique collector. I find I do better at thrift and second hand stores. Over priced items. Would not go out of my way to visit again, probably wouldn't recommend.

I don't think it would be a fair review to leave my opinion, because I am not a fan of antiques. However, my co-worker loves antiques and we spent nearly 1.5 hours in this store as he was pouring over everything and buying a variety of items.
I must admit that the selection was incredibly expansive ranging from old games and toys to classic furniture and even old tools. To my it was like a museum with price tags, but to my co-worker, it was an amazing store.
Based on his reaction, I must give this place 5 stars.

I love this little quaint type mall-even if you have no need to purchase a item-still go for a great place that will bring back many childhood memories-prices are great and the staff is friendly and educated on most of their items

I have visited antique malls from Lexington, WV to Charleston, SC and this is one of the nicest I have ever been in. There is no overwhelming odor that is a killer for folks with allergies. The prices were very reasonable. Some of hte best prices. We found actual antiques, toys, linens, tools three full floors of high quality items. I saw NO junk. They have a decent selection of Fiesta ware at prices that were dirt cheap. Prob the best prices to be had.

A friend is interested in purchasing an oak chest/ sideboard that was on the third floor reduced to $375. Is it still available?
