Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

there is a coop on the main floor of an old restored barn, with a nice old tractor out front, a wonderful photo op! but the real gem here is the museum located in the basement of the barn. there are more trinkets, artifacts and relics from the community than you could shake a stick at. its not the best display of the items, but you really can get a great sense of what there is.

Barn replete of diverse local art for sale. Some pricey, some at bargain basement prices. Some interesting and unique pieces, some traditional. Friendly service.

My teenage daughter and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the building to find beautiful original artwork in a friendly, nonintrusive atmosphere. We found handmade candles and soaps, jewelry, pottery, and a variety of textiles, all handmade by different artists. Definitely stop in if you find yourself in Lost River.

Checked out this place on my way home from camping. Very cool place. Great mixture of new artful pieces and old charming goods. Looked like they served coffee too.

An awesome little showcase for handcrafted items, all from wv. There are usually crafters in the store so you can watch these treasures being made. A great place to pick up holiday gifts

The Lost River Artisans Cooperative and Museum has an eclectic mix of fine art, folk art, handmade arts and crafts, all made by local artisans and crafters. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is top-notch. All the artists have been juried to insure the highest quality and most variety.
Adjacent to the co-op is a museum that reflects the history of the Lost River Valley and most of Appalachia. The museum features a working weaving loom and a knowledgeable weaver most weekends.

Don't let CRAFT throw you off. This is not your Michael's craft store, This is real high end true artist offerings. Furniture, glass, jewelry, quilts and more. The prices are wonderful and the quality is exceptional. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Ample parking and the Lost River Museum in the basement
