Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is right off the highway and if you're passing through, it certainly makes for a great picture. My family and I were there a total of 5 minutes but we look at the pictures all the time and smile.

It's just something neat to SEE, you know. Except, on the day I planned to see it? It was also Teapot DAY, and the nice ladies selling hotdogs from inside let me come in and check it out!! (I also met and took a selfie with the mayor?!) Parking isn't great, but I'm guessing on most days it's easy enough to park across the street and run over for a selfie.

Nothing to see here. I suppose if you were a huge fan of teapots then this is the place to drive past around 50 mph as you are on your way to one of the local potteries. It's in an odd location and not easily accessed.

We saw the world's largest teapot while in west Virginia. Each place has something oversized to look at... lol

The World's Largest Teapot is located in Chester, WV along America's first coast to coast road "The Lincoln Highway', now US Route 30. Moved to Chester in 1938 it was originally a barrel advertising Hires Rootbeer. If you happen to be passing by on the Lincoln Highway or visiting the nearby Homer Laughlin Factory store it is worth a few minutes to see this bit of Americana.

Quick stop to see the teapot. We parked along side of the road. Located right off of the main highway. Quirky nostalgia, but interesting!

It was just cool, not sure why, maybe because its so old or different. Parking could be a pain but we just walked from a place we had stopped to eat.

I remember stopping in here when I was very young. It is standing to the age when building was unique and it took them to notice you to stop.

Yes, I felt like Clark Griswald saying that! Being a geocacher and having a sense there was one there, I was absolutely right! Visiting family in WV for the holidays and seeing this JUST an hour away, I couldn't resist. Found the geocache, and looked in the gas station across the street for any souvenirs ... unfortunately non exist
