The trails were well kept. Really muddy the day we were there because of the night before storms. Still had a super great time. Wish there was an area to wash your bikes off. That would have been handy.

We absolutely loved our visit to Coopers Rock. The bouldering was amazing as was the road cycling through the forest. The staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. We will definitely be making the 3 hour drive back.

If you enjoy getting good views but don't enjoy physical exertion, this is the park for you. The overlooks are easily accessible from the parking lot.

I grew up going to this park and it’s still one of my favorites. Lots of trails perfect for mountain biking and hiking. Trails for all levels and dog friendly.

The overlook itself is very unique. You can see Morgantown from the distance. I do caution to be careful walking on it when it rains. When I went with my family and I, it started pouring down while we were on the overlook rock. We...More

While we didn't have much time to visit this gem of a state park in Bruceton Mills, our too- brief visit to Coopers Rock State Forest was one to remember. The view from the rock is breathtaking. This is a wonderful resource for West Virginians...More

Stopped by for about 2 hours while on our way from MD to KY. Beautiful Fall day. Went to the rock overlook, nice views, visitors center for a map, used the restrooms, then drove to a different area of the park. We hiked down to...More

Cooper's Rock closes the gate at "dusk." I usually ask at the park office each visit.

Not too sure. Didn't see that. We saw the overlook and under view of the scenic point. Then we hiked a while. It was beautiful!
