We were wishing we could see a whale or two as they were in the area at this time. Still enjoyed walking along the beach and watching ships sail past.

Drive south from Ocean Shores and you can experience the more-rugged coast of Washington state. Climb along the Jetty rocks for an amazing view or walk along the small-ish beach area.

It was beautiful, we went a little later in the day so it was cold and windy but there is parking right off the shore so the walking distance isn't long at all. Its so peaceful, friendly people, there was a little hut made of...More
