About
Enjoy drinking a beautiful glass of red wine and take in the view of Chelan Valley. There is a tasting fee and small bites to enjoy or you can bring your own. We are kid friendly. We have ladder ball, and corn hull yard games to enjoy while relaxing on the lawn. From December 1st through April 1st, we are open by appointment only. We are closed for the season except for private tastings.

Modern looking winery that you can’t miss as you come into Chelan. Donna and Rob put their passion for people and knowledge of great wines into each bottle. Music, games, and vino are enjoyed on the grass, overlooking Lake Chelan. Boat in or drive to this great spot...one of our favorites in this up and coming wine region.

Mediocre at Mellisoni

The view is great! The staff is friendly! That is it. Wine Snobs turn back ~ this is not a place for good vino, it was like tasting your college buddies first go at crush, barely drinkable but you know they are trying. Top it off with a steep tasting fee ( think Napa ) and it’s a one and done at best. I only went because we believe in supporting the local businesses but this winery needs a good 5 plus years to hopefully learn to make good wine. Been there done that, not going back for many years if ever.

Started off nice...

But then got the hard sell at the end. Wines were OK, but NOT worth $100 plus a bottle. If you are familiar with Chelan wines, you know that you can a much better bottle of wine for under $50. Glad we checked it out, will not return.

Good for the view

The wine here wasn't necessarily my favorite, but it was good. It was more on the sweeter side. Amazing view of the lake, and the bartender will take care of you as you lounge outside in lawn chairs with views overlooking Lake Chelan and the surrounding mountains.

If you're visiting the Chelan area, do yourself a favor and stop in for an excellent lineup of well crafted wines. I did, twice! I visited with my mother and spent quality time enjoying the scenery, wine, and the company of the Mellisoni staff, including owner, Rob. We purchased several fabulous bottles, with their 180° rosé ending up to be the champion of my palate. I shared it at home, where it received rave reviews from another fellow of the winemaking community. A big thank you to all who took the time to make us feel welcome by sharing your expertise and friendship. Keep up the good work!

Where's the 45?
Aug 2018 • Couples
We love the people here! The view is amazing, the are so hospitable owners! Seriously good folk that enjoy making wine. I only wish they made more of their '45' , it's a wonderful white with great complimentary flavor.

You have to get the remaining bottles we have left of the 2018 45 Degrees. It is aging well. I would highly recommend buying some of our remaining stock if you truly love the 45 Degrees. Because, we will not have a 45 Degrees from our 2019 vintage. Instead, we made a single varietal riesling and we took our Gewürztraminer and blended that with Orange Muscat for a new white wine blend called "Mellarci". It is a killer wine. You will have to try it. If you really want the 45 Degrees please call us and we can ship it to you. If you buy a case, we will ship for free. Donna Mellison

"Oh what a View"!
Jul 2018 • Couples
Good wines! Great staff! and fabulous owners who are hands on.
Always good music playing, on the sound system, or live music a lot of summer weekends.
Mellisoni is more than just a winery, it is an experience, with a darn good view.

I cannot say anything negative about this place. You truly feel like you are at a friends home. Which is the owner Rob and Donna's fabulous abode!

Thank you for sharing, Rob and Donna!

Expensive tasting and terrible service
Jun 2018 • Couples
The two people "working" when we visited we're more interested in doing tricks with cords and eating snacks than in the customers. $15 for 3 whites and just 2 reds in very overpriced considering the low quality of the wines, but hey you get to keep the glass.
