About
Since 2001, we have been patiently transforming former farm land to vineyards and a simple stone cottage into our current tasting and production facilities. For four generations, the Evans family has farmed the deep soils of the Chelan Valley, growing world-class apples in the unique lake-tempered climate. Now, amidst the orchards and fields of our family farm, we are producing grapes for our estate wines. Faces may change, different hands may perform the labor, but the message is the same: we are family, come join us. We think of enjoying wine at Tunnel Hill as a bit of a homecoming. A chance to settle down. Calm the mind. Quiet those feet. Friendly faces, dog and kid friendly spaces. Come! Pay us a visit. You will enjoy yourself.

Lovely winery

Such a beautiful setting! The stone house adds so much character to this winery.
Delicious wine, service was great, cheese platter very nice, and lots of shade, waterfalls, and terraced seating. Worth the visit for sure!

Wine Tasting 🍷
Sep 2019 • Family
We looked around for wineries that stated children welcome. This winery did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was very welcoming along with encouraging the customers to walk around the property and enjoy the wine while taking in the views of lake Chelan. That in itself set a very good mood for enjoying the visit to this winery. The sacrilege and the Syrah were our choice two reds. The Pinot noir Rose was dry and also delicious.

Lovely winery in Chelan
Aug 2019
We love this winery. We have been here three years in a row and the servers are always friendly. You can enjoy wine tastings or order a glass of wine to enjoy on the nice patio with a water fountain and pond. Everyone found a wine that they enjoyed and we all dipped our feet in the pool as it was very hot outside. There are some neat gifts and items to purchase.

Good Winery

Stopped into the Tunnel Hill Winery via our Electric Bike Tour. Our group enjoyed several wine tastings and conversation. The architecture and scenery of this winery is very cool, with a great use of building materials and creativity.

A fun site history and nice location

The Tunnel Hill Winery is an attractive location with a fun history. For my taste buds it was so so wine but it was an attractive stroll around the grounds.

Great wines but service was okay
Oct 2018 • Couples
The wine tasting was great and we purchased the Voignier which is something we would never consider buying normally. All of the wines in the tasting were very good. The only negative about the experience was the hostess was chatting to one of her friends and took time to pour the next wine. Still I would recommend a visit to this winery.

Enjoyed drinking wines with Colly, the hostess. All the wines we tried were winners. Picked up a couple bottles to take back with us. We enjoyed it so much, that we came back the following day to have a couple of glasses of wine by their waterfalls.

Meet people while enjoying the wine
Jun 2018 • Friends
We loved the look of the rock buildings and gardens so we stopped in for some wine. Colleen was pouring that day, she was so friendly and informative about the wines and history of the winery. At first My wife and I were the only ones there but soon another couple arrived. This is the best part of travel when you meet people and have fun. We are not wine connoisseurs so we can’t tell you wine lingo but we enjoyed the wines and purchased a couple of bottles. When in wine country sample, sample, sample so is and our new friends headed down the road. Take you wine outside sit in the gardens and enjoy the life you’re living.

Right off the highway

Just as you arrive at the bottom of the hill, Tunnel Hill Winery is on your right....you can't miss it....beautiful natural stone buildings, lovely grounds, and the lake just across the highway. Good wines and knowledgeable staff. I do like their estate Malbec....but then I just love Malbec. In the summer they have Yoga and Wine Tasting....a fine pairing.
