My son and I went parasailing for the first time with Pirate Parasail. We were told to arrive 30min early, which is plenty of time to sign in and sign the consents. The ladies in the office were very friendly. I purchased the photo package which was WELL worth it!!!
I did not catch our captains name unfortunately, but he was great. He joked, he explained what we were going to do, and made us feel safe. Our mate was Spencer, and he was fantastic! He did a great job of getting everyone harnessed and getting life jackets on quickly but carefully. He was so friendly and he took great pictures for us!
It was an experience I'll never forget! Thanks to our captain and mate for making it SO fun!

We had an excellent time parasailing today! The crew was great and took great care of us. My teens and I did a triple tandem and my husband joined as an observer. We felt safe the entire time. Even though there were three other groups also parasailing, we enjoyed the time relaxing on the boat. And, perhaps most importantly, they very quickly got me a vomit bag when I started feeling sea sick!! Make sure to look on their website and use the coupon codes (we were able to save 10%, which was a nice amount of money).

*this is a cross posted review* I really wanted to take the time to shout out Pirate Parasailing. This is my 2nd time with them -- but they really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a positive one. For starters, we had a cancellation so at last minute they worked it out to where we were able to pay a difference to let our other person go from Observer to Flyer!
My mother had a stroke last month or so which effected her vision, which in turn effects her balance / way of getting around. As you could imagine walking on a moving pier, a shaky boat, and down some steps would be difficult. However, Captain Nolan, Jack, and even the other two riders that were with us REALLY went above and beyond to help my mom. They assisted her, helped her up, guided her, and really accommodated her. Our main concern was having my mom stand up on edge of the boat while we were hooked up but instead they allowed my mom to sit down and they brought the hookups to her. I could go on and on.
The flight and experience itself was great! People were nice , landing and takeoff was smooth, and most importantly we felt safe!
Thanks Captain Nolan, Stephen & Jack for really making my mom's FIRST experience a great one. She had a great time and enjoyed her outing. I really cant thank you enough for making her feeling comfortable and at ease. We will be back soon! ❤️

Excellent! We were in the green boat with our captain (didn't catch his name) and Parker. Our family of 6 and 2 other small groups. The boat ride was great and the guys are very skilled yet fun. We had a beautiful day. Tunes on the boat, wind in our hair, and great flying experience. The best part was one of the other flyers who was very scared, conquering his fear and living to tell about it. The check in and parking experience was handled well also. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Had a beautiful fun trip. Our captain and crew were friendly and informative. It was our first time and we loved it. The photo package was a great price for the number of pictures we received.I highly recommend them.

Awesome adventure. The first day we went out the other party that was with us got to fly but a storm came up and we had to turn back before it was our turn. At least we had a nice boat ride. Rebooked for the next day and weather cooperated. Had an excellent time. Captain and mate were friendly and entertaining. All our kids and dad had a blast parasailing (mom just enjoyed the boat ride). I saw another review that said you were not allowed to ride along, that was incorrect. You can pay to go as an observer which I did. ($25) It was totally worth it for the ride, beautiful scenery and to watch the kids have fun.

This was my 1st time with Pirate but 3rd time parasailing and my niece's 1st time parasailing. Pirate Parasail was the best experience I have had! The crew was very helpful, knowledgeable and entertaining. The captain we had didn't ask if you wanted a dip as you came in but automatically gave one which was fun and refreshing! I highly recommend this company and also highly suggest that you buy the picture package. The 40-45 digital pictures we received the next morning were clear and beautiful! It was a great way to document our experience!

My daddy turned 60 and wanted to check parasailing off his bucket list. My 12 y.o. son has parasailed in Key West, so he felt comfortable enough to do it again with his papa.
From the time of booking until the very end, we felt like valued customers. The captain and mate were AMAZING. They were both professional, courteous, and thorough. Our captain’s sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time!!
This business is located directly beside Rudee’s. They have parking for their customers, which is nice. My mom, my daughter and I rode along as observers. That was quite fun.
We always felt safe and comfortable. The entire experience was so rewarding for my daddy. I am happy that we were able to celebrate his birthday in such a memorable way.
One of the other guests was around 8 years old and he really enjoyed himself also. Book today; you won’t regret it!

Never parasailed before but finally got the nerve. The crew of two was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately I only remember Ben the captains name but his mate was also very good. I would highly recommend Pirate Parasail.

Booked parasailing trip with Pirate Parasail online the day before the trip which was an easy process and received $10 off each person. Check in process was easy and staff was nice and helpful. Parasailing trip itself was great, Captain and mate were friendly. We got "dipped" twice which was fun. Purchased the photo package, got 58 pictures, but about half were too small to recognize and the "dip" pictures seemed to far out, not sure if they were able to zoom in much with the camera.

My 14 year old granddaughter really wants to do this but I can't swim. Is it necessary that I be able to swim?

Not at all. You will have a life vest on, and they only "dip" your feet in the water coming back in. You will love it!

Have a family of 4, first timers been wanting to do this for years, finally hope to cross it off our bucket list when we visit VA Beach next week. Was wondering what kind of cost we would be looking at for a family of 4? I'm guessing around 400? Also was wondering if this is the type of activity you leave a tip? Appreciate the input, new at this kind of activity. Thanks!

Google parasailingvirginiabeach, there are a few coupons. Ex: $15 off per person if you book a 9 A.M. flight. Yes, they do like tips! I hope this helps and hope that you get to cross this off your bucket list!

It’s at the end of the lower blocks and down a few side streets. We drove our car but you could definitely walk it.

Hi Pablo. We except walk ups, but some days we fill up and don't have room at some times, so a reservation may help you plan your day better. Our base price is $80/person for the 1000 ft flight, but you can save considerably if you book online at our website. See you soon!

Hello. Thank you for your questions. We are usually open from 9am-6pm 7 days a week once we get busy (mid-late June). In earlier June, we are usually open 10am-2pm or by appointment. Weather plays a factor as well. Our cost is $80 +tax per person. This is for 1000ft, the highest height allowed in VA. There are some discounts online. Hope this helps. Contact us anytime.
