We had an excellent experience with Bay Venture Boat Rentals and highly recommend a day on the bay in their pontoons!! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The boats were beautiful and clean. I reserved online, we showed up at the specified time, and had no trouble at all. We had a large group of 8 adults and 5 kids ranging from 3 - 9 years old. There was ample room on the boat for all of us and all our belongings and coolers. Bay Venture made recommendations on where to stop and had clear maps to help guide us along the way. We stopped at a beautiful beach, saw groups of playful dolphins up close, rented a double tube for the kids to ride, and docked at Chicks for lunch. Such a fantastic day! We will not hesitate to rent from
Bay Venture again!

Best boat rental EVER! I've rented boats in other location around the country as well as the Caribbean and this was by far the best, most professional, and first class operation I've ever used. The equipment is fantastic and they rotate new boats every year. The captain's briefing was thorough, entertaining and very helpful with lots of suggestions on things to do, out of the way places to visit, interesting things to see, and advice on restaurants, etc. Their navigation charts were easy to use and understand and they have a tracking system onboard so you can't get lost! We especially appreciated the personal call on our cell phone telling us about a rain shower that was moving in. We were able to return the boat safely without getting soaked and they even refunded part of the charge as our trip got cut short due to the weather. Bay Venture Boat Rentals are total pros and I will be back to visit them again!

We were a bit worried about going on the water without a professional but TJ was so thorough in the orientation and gave us every possible tip to stay safe and enjoy our time. 6 adults 4 teenagers and 2 younger kids we had on board all enjoyed every minute! We did some tubing, swimming and some fishing. We booked 6 hours thinking we could always return earlier but we barely made it back on time as we were having so much fun! We will definitely go back next year when we return to VB for vacation! Highly recommend Bay Venture Boat Rentals for the quality/condition of the pontoons and their organization!

Great Service ,If I could give them 10 stars I would. We got in due to a cancellation . We went with Bay Venture because of their reviews ,and we were not led a stray .They know everything about the local waterways and they make sure you do to, safety is a top priority . We were told where we could fish,where we could go tubing,where we could eat on the water/dockside,where we could find a rope swing and a quite beach to swim at. We hit all the sites ,did some fishing ,some tubing, got lunch at the Dockside, it was the highlight of our trip.Their fleet is band new and all the boats are mint condition Bentleys. Highly recommend this place for a fun time on the water.

This was a great experience.
The instructions were very clear and comprehensive - especially for a newbie like me.
The boats are fantastic. They are all brand new with lots of storage and a great stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.
I’m really looking forward to going back next year.

Had a wonderful time renting a pontoon boat from Bay Venture. The process was wonderful and streamlined from beginning to end. Compared to other boat rental venues I've used in the past, I thought the pricing was incredibly fair (loved that it included gas and didn't need to fill up at the end of the day) and the owner provided great training and easy ways to get in contact during the day if we needed anything. The boat was in perfect condition (brand new!) and ran great. We had a blast!

If I could give Bay Venture Boat Rentals a 6 Star, I would! We scheduled this trip as being the only thing we were going to do during our vacation due to Covid. We booked two boats for 18 of us. They were unbelievably professionals. From the point we showed up and went through the short boating course to the end pulling into the dock. They started out with a full laminated book of the area so you don't get lost and to point out the cool places to visit. They proceeded to go through all the essential safety points and even have GPS on the boat to find you if you are having trouble or lost. They also sell their boats every year and buy new ones to reduce maintenance cost and have for the boaters to feel safe and comfortable on a brand new boat. Even thought about the Fishing Lincense for all on the boat for free. Stereo was great with Blue Tooth throughout. The Tubing, swimming, and boating up millionaires row, with such a beautiful day, we couldn't have asked for anything else. We even lost a Fishing Pole on accident and they only charged us $10. They could have taken advantage of us but they don't work that way. Funny and very personable guys too. Top notch. Don't miss this experience.

This was our second rental and everyone was over the top happy with the experience. The owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Their briefing about the local cruising range was thorough and superbly laid out as was the briefing about the boat operation and safety features. The boats are brand new new and in tip-top condition and well outfitted. We will continue renting from Bay Venture Boat Rentals!

This was our first time renting and we were super pleased. There were 8 of us that went out with visiting family and we were out for 6 hours. The price was very reasonable. There was plenty of room for us all and our cooler. We were able to rent fishing polls and bait so the kids could fish. All we had to bring were drinks and food. Great time. The boat was very clean and comfortable. We beached it at The Narrows for a bit and docked at a favorite restaurant (Chick's Oyster Bar) for a late lunch. The guys at the dock were very helpful. We're local and we will definitely do this again. Highly recommend.

So easy to work with!!!! Very simple booking process and they made sure I was comfortable with the area and boating before leaving the dock. Boats were in excellent condition. They were able to help me arrange another day when Tropical Storm Isaia came through.

Hello- has anyone rented a pontoon and they did not have a boating license? I noticed we can rent without a license but I was wondering if anyone has done this. Thanks!

yes you can rent one without a boating license the owner/operator gives very clear and detailed instructions on how to operate and where to go in the bay
