About
The Bay of Islands Farmers Market operates an authentic Farmers Market in Kerikeri every Sunday morning 8:30 am to 12 and in Paihia on the Village Green 1pm-4pm every Thursday. We are open rain or shine. All produce is produced in the Northland region and sold by stall holders who have a part in the growing or production of what they sell. If you have any questions feel free to ask the stall holders, they are more than happy to tell you about their products and how best to cook or store them. Come along and purchase some of the freshest products you can find direct from the producers and support local producers.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Across the street from tourists operator's and where cruise shuttle drops off.
All local artists selling their items, nice to walk through and check out.

Cruise ships dictate schedule, lovely little walk and chat with local creative types. Excellent and authentic goods a refreshing experience. Town is too cute for words, but sadly overrun with cruise ship plebes during summer months.

Having been to a bigger farmers market in another part of North Island I found this market to be a little limited in comparison.

That said, for a smaller market it was very busy with a variety of stalls and all the vendors with ‘sit and eat’ stalls were thriving. There was a good vibe about the place.

There were a number of art / craft stalls to go with plenty of fruit & veg.

Car parking was free and easy to find a place.

If passing or nearby give it a visit.

This small farmers market is where the growers sell directly to the public. The produce is fresh and the stall holders are usually the growers who are passionate about their produce. For the best choice arrive early.

We bought some really nice breads and fruit here but not a lot of stalls. Might be the time of year and summer months could be busier!

We went to this lovely little market after disembarking from the cruise ship. Lots of beautiful handmade gifts and local produce to choose from.

It’s only a small market, but was a lovely way to spend some time whilst in Bay of Islands.

We spent a few hours here, tasting some of the best local food around. The Spring rolls were yummyt, we had some Lemoncello and wine to taste and buy. The fresh organic fruit and Veges are not expensive compared to the shops. People who are passionate about what they sell. Great people to chat with, very friendly locals. Would recommend if you have a few hours to spare.

Watch out for the cash stall. You get told the stalls do not have eftpos but they do you you get charged $3 to be able to get up to $80 cash out.

We asked for a $3 refund but were told it was our fault for not speaking clearly enough.... dodgy... a shame for such an awesome setup
