After tasting a fair few chocolates at Schoc, a bike ride along the rail hit the spot. We hired bikes from a place on the main road and biked there and back in an hour.

The trail is off road dry and a lovely easy run in the countryside. Get you away from it all. If you're in Greytown give it a go whether you run, walk or bike it 😎

Plenty of room for two riders side by side good parking. Dog friendly. Plenty seats along the way to stop and enjoy being in the country. Mostly farm land not a forest trail.

Choice fun for eveyone😊 Easy, accessible, good views. Being off road is safe and more relaxing. Good family biking or walking activity. Choice one Greytown

5 kms of glorious sunshine, views of countryside and mountains, spots of shade to rest and downhill on the way home. Just magic.

Spent a most enjoyable couple of days cycling the Greytown to Woodside rail trail. This cycleway passes along a superb path bounded by lush pastureland and mature stands of trees. This route has a most interesting early railway history. The trail passes over babbling brooks...More

A scenic walkway/ cycle way from Woodside Station to Cotter St Greytown. Well maintained, Route takes you through farmland and under old oak trees that once lined the railway line into Greytown.
