About
Owned by the same family for 3 generations, the farm has down-sized to 40 acres. This and the large garden still keeps owners, Neil & Greg busy!o Walnuts and hazelnuts are also sold at the gardens. Friendly animals are a favourite with visitors - both adults and children! Garden & Farm Tour - Minimum of 4 people - $20 per Adult and $10 per Child [under 10 years] Tours for smaller groups are subject to availability.

Lovely visit
Nov 2018 • Couples
Make sure to visit if you are in greytown, allow yourself to be escorted around some lovely gardens. Neil showed us around, and was very chatty and an all round nice guy who had great enthusiasm about his gardens and animals.

It was just me and my partner, so we rang ahead and Neil was quite happy to guide just the two of us. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet the two mad labradors, they were marvellous!

An escorted Garden tour
Oct 2018 • Friends
Our Upper Hutt Garden Club enjoyed a visit to these beautiful, quirky gardens. At the garden, originally a Dairy farm, our hosts entertained us with personal stories of their family history and the hard work of developing the grounds. They shared commitment and love of the area There are a lots of quaint art pieces scattered thru the grounds plus a number farm animals which included lamas, sheep, horses, donkeys and deer, all individually named. The two stage ramble, gardens then a self provided lunch on the homestead steps before the visit to the petting farm, suited our elderly group.

If we are made aware that elderly guests are attending we open our gates to the house for easier access. We also make a point in asking the organisers if they have guests that may require assistance. Also the venue is a garden and we have no control over the weather. We trust you still enjoyed attending the wedding.

Great outing for us all
Sep 2015 • Family
We loved our visit to this farm. Kids got a great kick out of seeing and visiting all the animals. The guides were very friendly and had a great love for the place. Our kids were missing their animals at home on our holiday so enjoyed this experience immensely. The gardens were very inspiring and beautiful!

Well worth a visit, for all ages, large grounds to wander through, maybe out of way but well worth visiting. full of history as the land was once belonging to the Cotter family. Pierce Cotter. View by appointment dont be put off by that.. nice to meet the owners.. loved the gardens. Went with a large group. The garden is featured in www,wairarapaheritageattractions.org.nz or Wairarapa Heritage brochures. which list all of Wairarapa places to visit, museums etc. rather leave the photograph to the owner to choose one thanks.
