Beautiful water, waves, white sand, what else? Add in new toilets, grassed areas, kids play equipment, plenty of free BBQs. Lovely walks on the beach during the day, and then enjoy evening walks along the esplanade after a stunning sunset. Everything you need for a...More

Went to Scarborough Beach front on the weekend to see what it looks like after all the new redevelopment that’s been done there over the last year a what a difference. It’s totally transformed the foreshore into a family friendly place with a pool, skate...More

When we parked our car, we saw that some of the part of the beach was under construction. It didn’t stop us. Neither the wind didn’t stop us. I had never seen so many people on the ocean. They used all kinds of contraptions to...More

I went o Saturday afternoon. Weather was great and the beach was not so crowded. There are a couple of nice restaurants in front and lot of parking area. Highly recommended if all you want is to relax on the beach after brunch or lunch.

Scarborough beach is a beautiful stretch of coast. There is a patrolled beach as there can be rips along this stretch. The sand is soft and clean. The boardwalk adjacent to the beach has been upgraded and has something for everyone. There is play equipment,...More

The council has spent a fortune upgrading the boardwalk and making this beach side area into a gorgeous get away. Only 20 or so minutes from Perth, 30 minutes from Fremantle, we love this area as it is close enough to still feel connected but...More

Scarborough this time of year becomes quiet as the weather drops and tourists aren't as popular. This made for a great sunset swim in cool water that was great for a 10 minute swim. There's a skatepark and rock climbing area that's popular with children...More
