I was there in fall, but the sand, water, and dunes was still calling visitors. There were people still swimming. The sand is soft and the water is clear. I liked that there were grassy areas to sit on and some shade under the trees.

This is a good beach with plenty of space. Nice grass areas if you aren't keen on sitting on the sand and great kiddies play areas nearby. It was extremely busy when we were there because of Sculptures at the Sea but well worth a...More

An average beach comparatively. Still a good and certainly enjoyable but nothing spectacular to rave about. Very wild ocean, massive waves. Notice of snakes in the dunes, so stick to the beach area.

Went on a last day to catch the last glimpse of the sculptures on the beach. Loved them. Beautiful beach.

Its a great place to swim. The beach is clean, the surf is not too large, the water temperature is just right (at 20 degrees in May) and its not crowded at 8 am in the morning.

Small beach patrolled by lifeguards. Ideal for families. Clean white sand with a few rocks about. Waves not too big and able to swim across the beach. Easy parking in the area and extends to other beaches for long walks on the beach or along...More

There are no organised activities, just personal beach walking, night photography of the exhibitions if you are into it or eating dinner at a restaurant nearby

Sadly not for hire. If you go to the main Cottesloe beach there is plenty of shade on the terraces of lawn south of Indiana building.
