Situated just a short distance from Cervantes. This small lake has a good board walk around it, a nice walk and a look at the Stromatolites, very interesting.

We walked around the lake on the boardwalk then over to the look out point. There are lovely views of the beach from here. From there you can descend to the beach and into Cervantes, almost completing a circular walk. You can see the stromatolites...More

A peaceful way to spend 30-45 minutes. Walk around Lake Thetis, and view the stromatolites from the safety (their safety) from the boardwalk.

Learn a few new things but really this is not an attraction. It will take you 15 mn to walk around the lake and 2 mn to watch the stromatolites. If you keep going on the dirt road there is a nice lookout there and...More

This little place is off the beaten path, however it is well worth the visit. It has great signage, clean and easy to navigate pathways plus great education signs.

I must say this remarkable Thetis Lake is an opportunity not to be missed when you come to Perth! Really enjoy the view and sunset scenery. Awesome! Really must come to experience and worth it 😍

Just a short drive from Cervantes, this is a small lake where one of the oldest lifeforms on Earth can be found. The walk to the lake is on a slightly raised walkway through lovely bush flora. We were there on a slightly cloudy day...More

Went to Lake Thetis after a lobster lunch at the Lobster Shack. Just a 10-minute drive away. The road is not tarred, so be ready for some bone-shaking, although it was not a long stretch. Parking and entrance is free and you can visit anytime....More

Beautiful place to admire the lake, stromatolites and shrubbery. Not a lot of people when we were there. Lots of birds. We even saw a kangaroo with its joey chomping on the vegetation while walking the path.

A lake with a pathway around it and these interesting formations in it. Worth a look and the corrugated road which gets you there is a ride in itself!
