Did the whole walk up to the top, reading the headstones on the way. Sad that so many died soo young. Would of been nice if the headstones etc had of been kept maintained in their original condition for generations and visitors for many years...More

Amazing place to visit - beautiful scenery and to find that the tomb stones are all vertical was fantastic. Awesome history to explore and not far away from Melbourne.

Good walk up to the cemetery and a fantastic view from the top. Lovely crisp morning and not slippery. Very interesting graves , found the grave of Henry Dendy who was living in Walhalla and died there.

So wear some good walking shoes cause its almost a vertical hill you will need to climb to see the graves. Although you will not find many very old headstones that you can read. But still worth a look.
