Amazing place to visit - beautiful scenery and to find that the tomb stones are all vertical was fantastic. Awesome history to explore and not far away from Melbourne.

Good walk up to the cemetery and a fantastic view from the top. Lovely crisp morning and not slippery. Very interesting graves , found the grave of Henry Dendy who was living in Walhalla and died there.

A credit to the town and a mind field of information and history in this picturesque spot....we visited it on a misty rainy day and it was magical!!

We walked the short but steep path to the cemetery with our granddaughters aged 8-13 years. Great to walk around and read the headstones and to read some of the sad stories of people, children & miners dying quite young. Hidden away but well worth...More

So wear some good walking shoes cause its almost a vertical hill you will need to climb to see the graves. Although you will not find many very old headstones that you can read. But still worth a look.

For those who just love to amble around and take in pieces of town history. my wife and i do this often just to try and piece together time. Very good place to do this

Great place to spend some time amoungst the graves and absorbing the history of times gone by...also way up the top the only place in town that gets telstra mobile service.
