Although the renovations were nearly finished, this did not detract from our visit. What really added value were the very enthusiastic and informative guides - two gentlemen downstairs and a lady upstairs.

Friendly and informative staff. Tea room. Small gift section. House is covered in scaffolding at present. Pretty gardens around the house. Informative displays. Held a heavy replica rifle. You can dress on on Fridays and cook in the kitchen on Sundays. Guides in the house...More
