This pub is unfortunately not a hidden gem, and more like a hidden mess. It is located just at the edge of the river, near the Thames and Medway canal; you wouldn't think to go through an industrial estate and a dodgy alley filled with...More

We honestly thought it was closed because of the outside appearance having walked along the Saxon Shore Way from Gravesend. Pleased to find it wasn’t and that the local beers Shrimpers and Northfleet were well kept. If its a grey day you find yourself looking...More

A group of us went to the Tapas night, the food was very tasty and good value for money. The jug of sangria was excellent. I will definitely be going back.

Stumbled across this little gem last Wednesday lunchtime. Proper old-fashioned riverside boozer. Drinks reasonably priced and knowledgeable locals! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Tables outside overlooking the river. Bit out of the way but definitely worth searching out. Will be back for sure.
