Visited The Boat Inn for a bit of lunch with family 5 adults and 4 kids . Gorgeous day and luckily managed to get a table outside . Great play area for kids with plenty of grass to kick about a football for the older...More

This is a lovely traditional village pub, serving excellent food. The beer garden is a total sun trap. There are also tables to sit by the canal.

Popped in at 12 on a Sunday lunchtime after a walk along the embankment. A lot of garbage strewn through the beer garden (after what looks like a busy Saturday night) made us decide to eat inside. Inside on first inspection seems much cleaner. Friendly...More

A bit tired - plaster coming off walls, smelling of dogs and frankly better places to go, which is a shame because it is in a fabulous location next to the river and footpath. Needs a bit of TLC and could be great.

Had a fabulous meal at the Boat cannot knock anything about it ,food was top class ,service excellent staff was very friendly and making sure everything was to our liking would highly recommend it to anyone xx

Very good place highly recommended excellent reasonably priced food and extremely friendly staff, would happily return. Excellent for a family afternoon in the well equipped large beer garden or a quite few drinks!! 😊

All round good choice. We were a bit late for food orders so had pizza and nachos. Both were very good. Quick delivery friendly people rugby on the telly. Taylor landlord beer all at modest prices. Will definitely go again as it is fairly local...More

This has been my local pub for over 10 years and has it up's and down's where food is concerned.....I am happy to say it's on the up at the moment...basic food at a great price and great service. Great beer garden with children's play...More
