We were moored in Island Harbour marina in the River Medina and took a £10 each 20 minute water taxi from there to Newport Quay. It dries out at low tide so there is limited access by water. It lies beneath one of the main...More

Met with some friends for a light lunch. Chose the spring vegetable and barley soup. What came was water with a WHOLE broccoli sprig. Think their food processor might be broken. Could have used a knife? I had to use a knife and fork to...More

I refer to the café only. I don’t expect to be ignored by staff because they are having a chat with one another. I also don’t expect a local to walk in behind me and be served before me. The coffee and the exhibition upstairs...More

The management of the arts centre are trying really hard to bring a variety of high quality events to the island. The centre needs the support of the islanders otherwise we will become a cultural dessert. Meals are excellent and staff are very friendly.

Themed evenings are providing special menus with appropriate live music. We loved the Caribbean evening. And we've been back since for the 'anything but' standard menu before another concert. Lovely food, great atmosphere.

We had drinks here and enjoyed an amazing American Blues duo. It was some of the best live music we had seen for years in a well organized and run venu. We did not eat here but food liked good.
