Unless you are interested in a random collection of artefacts, this museum is probably not for you. However, the building, an old prison, is well worth seeing. We went on a Wednesday when all museums were free.

Patently this is meant for locals or visiting Spanish. Not even a brochure in English. It's one way of killing an hour on a wet Wednesday but those with an enquiring mind will come away frustrated at the stupidity of those in authority who should...More

The displays are extremely interesting, and one room shows the process of making flax thread. There are also archaeological displays and various other artifacts from the area. It is Spain, so one shouldn't expect everything to be in English, but I truly regretted my absence...More

The museum is in a renovated historic building of the old city: the old prison. The exhibits tell the tale of the region through the years. Great perspective.
