Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Paid 20 euro for a 1.5 hour ride around beautiful scenery and the girl who took us out was attentive and friendly. Horses are well looked after. The man who runs this has broken English but I can't speak any Spanish so didn't think he was rude, maybe a bit blunt but didn't spoil my experience at all and think it was fantastic value for money.

The girl we went out with checked if we wanted to go faster than walk and the four out could all ride so we had fun. Not as sure what someone nervous may feel like.

Adults didn't have to wear hats bit I still pit one on. Not sure how effective they would be if you fell off onto your head as they were nowhere near English standard but doubt you'd get that anywhere. The horses were really well behaved and didn't put a foot wrong

Please ignore the bad reviews, this man managed to get 7 of us, one who was very nervous all on horses and on a 1.5 hour hack. He has broken English but is humourous and makes the experience fun. I would recommend doing it!! Please leave him a tip. The horses are very well looked after and have plenty of character to make you giggle while on the adventure.

Me and my girlfriend visited Sa Coma last month and our best day out was by far our trip to Ranch Sa Coma. For just €15 each you are on the horses for well over 2 hours going all through the local forest to the castle and then back along the sea front with an ice cream stop half way through. Very fun and enjoyable, recommend for all ages.

Well recommend!

The Ranch is easy to find near to the beach. Best to wander down a day or two prior to when you would like to ride. Senior speaks little English so we used Google translate. He can then arrange a day and time for you to ride.

We paid €20 each which was great value. We took a leisurely slow paced ride taking us to a lovely high spot with a fabulous view and bar where we stopped for a drink. Meanwhile Senior paid good attention to his horses.

If you are open to no thrills but a good time with real Spanish character then you will enjoy it!

Horrendous experience - please avoid! Man was extremely rude and witnessed him abuse the animals. They were trying to eat feed from the bottom of his hut. He picked up a plank of wood and hit them square in the face. Disgusted and traumatised by the experience.

bad treatment of animals. It's sad how they are poorly fed, unhealthy. It should be reported to the animal shelter.
the owner is an unfriendly Mallorcan gentleman.
the ride is beautiful but it is not worth contributing to the poor treatment of the horses.
It should be closed.

The guy was friendly enough, horses very well behaved and looked well cared for.
The ride was 90 minutes with spectacular views. Highly recommended, very laid back, no hats, wear what you like. I loved it!

Despite the bad reviews, we still went there. Owner is nice to visitors in his own Spanish way. Horses are wellcared for. Went on a 90 minutes ride and had a drink break with a great view. Absolutely loved it!

I cannot comment on other people's experiences, but I can tell you Miguel really loves his horses. Am I qualified to comment? As a current horse owner and having taken my British Horse Society exams in the past & taught riding for many years I will leave that decision to whoever reads this review.

We visited the ranch in the morning and as we felt it was too hot for our children to ride we returned at 7 pm. Yes the horses were tacked up in the shade but it was clear in the evening there was a rotational system in place as the horses I saw tacked up in the morning were grazing in the evening & vice versa.

The horses were in excellent condition (some a little too well fed😎) & most importantly their feet were in good condition- those shod were shod well and the ponies feet all appeared to be trimmed regularly.

There was a little Chestnut ?Fallabela/ Shetland type pony who gazed just adoringly @ Miguel- he really does love these animals and they him.

As confirmed by the lady in the Moonfish booking office Miguel is a bit eccentric, prefers animals to people and just loves his horses- my kind of person😊.

We had the loveliest little ride with our children, only 5 euro for 30 minutes, which is outstanding value, horses are expensive to keep and feed so I don't imagine he makes much profit.

Lastly, if you take the time to say "Ola Miguel" as we did you may get a joyous welcome- yes there is a language barrier there but I think he appreciates it if you try.

I ride at home so I was really excited when I heard there was a ranch literally across the road from my hotel. I visited the first night and did the experienced ride at 8pm... absolutely loved it, had a really good gallop up to the castle and a bit of a paddle in the sea. It did go dark during the ride but I didn’t mind so much as the sky was pretty and it was cooler for the horses. Went back the second night but wasn’t enough people to do a ride which is fair enough. The 3rd night I took my partner who doesn’t ride so we did the normal 6pm ride which is pretty much walking the whole way. Miguel’s son knew I was experienced so for the last part up to the castle he put me at the front of the group to hold the others back and let me gallop by myself... which was amazing! 4th night again not enough people for the 8pm ride but on the 5th night he said we could go as didn’t want to turn me away again (even though there was only two of us on the ride) so did lots of galloping again... Miguel’s son (I don’t remember his name) tried to chat to me the best he could on the last night, although there was a language barrier he was lovely, always making sure everything was ok and having general chit chat. I paid 15 euros and the rides were roughly 1 hr 30 which is great value! Horses aren’t cheap! Considering all of the scenery, length of time, the gorgeous horses and their amazing behaviour this place is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for making my holiday!
