Overview

World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, cheaper than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it. Check carefully that you are at the real Cuevas del Drach, not at another caves nearby with confusing road panels, simulating to be Cuevas del Drach.

As I did A level Geology I was amazed by the caves full of stalagmites stalactites and the river at the bottom with a orchestra playing. 200 steps to the bottom though.

The caves are beautiful there is no doubt about it. The place has also been beautifully crafted to allow tourists entry, and the string orchestra and boats are fantastic. However, they pack hundreds of people into each tour which really takes away from the experience...More

This is a great thing to do when you visit Mallorca. It’s very touristic, what makes it crowded and I guess that lost some of it charmes. Very nice view especially the ceiling! The musical concert at the end is breath-taking. We took the boat...More

Visited today. Beautiful place and a nice little concert at end of tour. Only marred by people using flashes and filming concert even though everyone was asked not to. Ensure you wear non slippy shoes.

Visited today. Once inside, it is marvellous to see the rock structures, but a bit repetitive. The highlight is undoubtedly the entrance into the amphitheatre by the musicians, which I found very emotional, and then the exit, which was a joy to behold. All in...More

Thank you very much. Take advantage of buying tickets online, an small discount, the possibility of choosing the date and hour to visit the caves, usually at 16 and 17 hours is less busy. Best regards!

A nice place to visit but it's hard to say anything positive about the caves of drach the 195 steps to climbed to get out of the caves is hard especially if u are elderly.

We are very sorry for your disappointment. The Caves of Drach are 25 metres deep, and there are 250 steps to get down and up. Many elder visitors make the whole trip without problem, but it can be harder for some visitors. Best regards.

We enjoyed these caves. We went in the off season so not many people there. Worth it. Maybe a little pricey but they are all similar. The lighting effects are wonderful
