Overview
More
World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, cheaper than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it. Check carefully that you are at the real Cuevas del Drach, not at another caves nearby with confusing road panels, simulating to be Cuevas del Drach. On high season we advise strongly to book online from Cuevas del Drach official web site, with an small discount and ensuring your entry time.

Beautiful caves, and very fresh atmosphere inside. The violin concert is incredible with the lights and rowing boats passing by. Incredible indeed

Went here on previous holiday, and it was a stunning natural wonder. I managed the stairs ok with six year old. Was cold and crisp down there... we sat watching the calm waters and a little lit up boat floated up playing some beautiful classical...More

Caves of Drach is a good place to spend half a day. The only bug bear is that it’s so popular! Impressive, memorable and with a random floating orchestra at the end

Although the cave itself was spectacular, the experience was ruined by the greed of the people who run it. The attraction is obviously seen as a cash cow, with hundreds of visitors being herded around the caves throughout the day. Upon arrival at the caves...More

Really not worth the money! It is clearly a way of trying to make money... too many people squeezed in, a very under whelming music concert and a boat ride that queue for, for ages and it takes you about 100m up the river! People...More

Would highly recommend a trip to see these amazing caves, quite a lot of steps involved but they are not too steep for the most part. The highlight is definitely the boat with musicians sailing along the lake inside the cave, the accoustics are amazing....More

The caves are spectacular, the lake is spectacular, the orchestra fantastic and the boat ride also good fun. The visit could be improved by providing some detail of when/how the caves were formed etc

Too many people, nothing special, 3 songs concert inside, the lady played on a completely unsettled violin. We paid 55 Euro per person to our tourist agency and it was completely waste of money

The cave itself was very beautiful and it was nice to see the inside of it, so therefore I would recommend it. However the reasons it was not worth to go there are: you need to buy a ticket for an hour but apparently you...More

There's a big car park outside the caves, and although I didn't see any cycle racks, that may be because I didn't look for any! There is bound to be somewhere safe you can lock your bikes up.

Quite a few, I read somewhere 500 people but I’m not sure if there was that many. Plenty of room and spacious though. I was worried it would be cramped and claustrophobic but it wasn’t
