    Fabulous
Beautiful resort with the best crystal clear sea. Stayed at hotel Alua which was perfect apart from the food quality which was not good. Apart from that everything else was 10/10. Perfect quiet resort for a wonderful restful holiday.

    Everything here
Great little bay with good amenities near by. The main supermarket is a bit of a rip off but others are near by. Good snorkelling in the bay: octopus, sea horse, loads of fish that eat bananas from your hand. Good local restaurants and a regular, easy to use, bus service to take you to other destinations.

    A good hotel!!
The hotel is well situated in a beautiful cove and is a quiet place to get away. The hotel itself is good with great facilities such as an adult bathing area and spa. The food is average and very typical of this type of hotel with a wide assortment of food and drinks. The drinks are served in plastic cups by the pool which is expected however in the dining room and bars in the evening the drinks are served in glasses. One gripe I had w as that I asked for my sangria to be served in a wine glass rather than a tumbler. The waiter Adrian flatly refused to allow this saying it was impossible. I felt this was totally out of order and should a paying customer request a certain glass ( there were loads behind the bar) I feel they should be granted this. I don’t understand why he should have refused this and feel very disappointed that this should happen. He was very sullen and unapologetic! All inclusive guests are certainly treated differently and given less desirable looking drinks and glasses. It would put me off returning despite enjoying the hotel.

Music from bars ruin peaceful beach
Beautiful, we go every year. However for the first time we both got bitten by a fish in the shallow sea, one bite each a few hours apart. It was quite a vicious push and sharp pinch on my calf that made me yelp and got straight out of the sea to check my leg..just a sore red mark that lasted a couple of days. It then happened to my husband too. I've been going to Csmp de Mar for decades and it's the first time. I've read about it and there are reports of it all around Mallorca..likely due to climate change and warmer seas. Camp de Mar is known as being quiet which is why we've loved it. however the bars along the front are now blasting music all day and as you lie on the beach instead of listening to the relaxing waves rolling in, it's replaced with the repetitive boom boom.boom of the base...such a shame...doesn't need to be that loud that it disturbs the entire beach.

We (couple with two children (19y & 14Y) returned last Saturday from an 8-day stay at this wonderful location. Camp de Mar is a beautiful resort and I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing family beach holiday. The Alua Gran was the prefect hotel for us and all of us agreed that it was our best Summer beach holiday ever. Everything went so smoothly, there is nothing we could fault. We flew out of Luton with WizzAir and returned with EasyJet. Both flights were good and both Luton and Palma airport are now our favourites. No hassle whatsoever. We rented out car with Sixt which was also super-smooth, no waiting, no huge deposits, free upgrade, just brilliant. A short 25min. drive from the airport and you arrive in paradise. We parked in one of the free Camp de Mar car parks close to the access to the beach (and the Alua) to walk to the hotel from there (3min. walk) and check in. Check-in by Carolina was professional, friendly and efficient. We were blown away by the view from our interconnecting rooms on the 7th floor. The rooms, while not massive in size, have everything you need, are clean and well maintained. Keycards worked, aircon worked, shower pressure excellent, hot water instant any time, safe working (does cost 2 Euros a day). Very happy with rooms. With a keycard we then had access to the underground parking garage which is situated in a side street just behind the hotel (underneath the tennis court & football pitch (easy to book, 20 Euro deposit). We then moved the car (garage costs 3 Euros a day) and took the luggage the short distance to the hotel. A back entrance to the hotel would of course be excellent, but it really isn’t far. The breakfast buffet is excellent and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. It does get busy during peak times, but even though there was always plenty available and replenished. The pool is fab and never felt overcrowded to me. At 12:30 there was Aquafit with Sergio (what a star!) or Miguel which was fun. We weren’t really after much entertainment/animation, so what was on offer suited us just fine. All outside and common areas of the hotel are very well maintained and clean. Would it have been great to stay in the pool until 7pm? Of course. The indoor pool and wellness area are also fantastic. Never used the upstairs adults only area, nor the solarium area by the seafront, because the beach is just a stone-throw away and why pay for a sun lounger if I can have one for free (providing a family member gets up early (7:30amish) and plays the towel game, but that happens everywhere; we had brought our own microfibre towel so didn’t need to pay deposit for towels). The area under the two big trees with the rattan chairs is also very nice for chilling and they even had a DJ-set there one afternoon. The snack bar is affordable (if not on all inclusive) and snacks are tasty (burger or hot dog with fries 5.50 Euros, Slushy 2.70 Euros). The supermarket is just across the road and is well stocked (water bottle/drinks from 1.50 Euros, ice lollies 2 -2.50 Euros). The beach and sea does get full, but it’s no surprise because it’s such a gorgeous place and it’s a friendly atmosphere. Audience in hotel and on beach is very diverse, no main nationality as such, but of course there are plenty of Brits and Germans. The restaurants and bars are all great as are the boutiques and shops. It’s a small resort, so there aren’t loads of these, but it’s quality over quantity for me. Best recommendations: Maria 5 Beach Club (£££, best to book ahead), Camp de Mar Beach Club (££, good to book, but can wait for table), Bar Bagari (£, no beach view, near parking garage), Meson El Quijote (£, no beach view). The massage chairs in the lobby are excellent (the one on the right (as you stand in front of them) is best, 2 Euros), the air-con in the arcade/games room is excellent. The Wifi does not work in the rooms on the 7th floor, but it works everywhere downstairs inside & out.
The jewellery cabinets in the lobby have a nice, affordable selection. Wednesday market in Andratx (7.50 Euro taxi or share with others going). Great selection of food, clothes and fake designer bags/jewellery. Port Andratx also great for eating out (parking easy by the port, 2 Euros for 2 hours) We are already looking forward to return to this fantastic place!

Couldn't afford to stay here but such a beautiful beach to visit. Hire sunbeds with parasol and lockable safe. Great for snorkeling.

The location of the hotel is amazing . On arrival the room was very small and in need of some serious decor update . Cracked tiles in the bathroom . Maid services only made the bed , no change of towels .
All inclusive- not worth the money , drinks very watered down unless you paid for them , bar staff very helpful especially Richard , an amazing bloke . Food - same everyday very boring bland and over cooked . Breakfast was ok tho even if you fancied last night's Brussels sprouts 🤑
Entertainment amazing crew worked extremely hard and long hours .
Management Team , rude , be very careful if you vape apparently the hotel is completely non smoking and vaping you have to go outside the complex . Sadly we were rudely told off , no signs but happy to have several couples smoking and not a word said . Management lady you need to read up.on your Spanish laws before shouting at us
Pool very clean at all times
Working in travel , this is not a 4 star hotel more like a 3 star .
Wouldn't return.

Beautiful beach, a few nice restaurants (book in high season) and no bars, so if you want to stay out a bit late you have to go to a restaurant. Local buses very good and great connections - cheap. Nice walk to neighbouring resort through the countryside.

Stunning little resort
The beach is lovely and the sea was so clear and blue, there is a lovely restaurant in the sea which is worth a visit
Very quiet but that’s what we wanted
Lovely little bars to visit on a night
Only €7 to port d'andratx which is a bit more lively on a night
Will definitely go back
