Walked into the town from Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy and found it was a lovely typical Spanish village. Lots of cafes to sit and watch the world go by and listen to the locals and relax.

I think that the most important thing to remember about Manacor is that it is a regular Spanish city not really a tourist attraction. At the time of my visit the cathedral was closed so unable to say more than it looks interesting! There is...More

Nice church and old town but nothing very special. Silent lazy town, you can visit if are around, to sit for a coffee or wine.

Given all the charming and beautiful towns and villages to visit on Mallorca, Manacor is not at the top of my list. For want of a better phrase, it is 'low class' and uninteresting. There may be some nice areas but we didn't find them....More

We went to the Manacor Market on Monday and were disappointed. The market stalls sell mostly junk as in most of the markets in Mediterranean counties. The presentation of the stalls was not nicely arranged but like rummage tables. There are also animals squeezed in...More

We got a local bus (25 mins) to nearby town of Manacor, on the Monday morning of our holiday, to visit the market there. It's a nice town and a really good and large market. Mix of clothes, toys, food.

We caught the train to Manacor from Palma. Manacor itself is nice enough but nothing special, you would not call it a pretty quaint place. The town centre is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the train station and has the advantage that it...More
