Take 15 minutes out of your day to see La Escalinata - if you can't cope with the stairs, there's a lift right next to it.

Really cool architecture. There's a lift at the bottom if you don't feel like taking the stairs back up. Some great tapas bars opposite the top too

Epic set of stone stairs rising from a small park and taking you up to the old town of teruel. Great example of Mujedar brick architecture with ceramic decorations.

We used the stair between our hotel in the old town and our car parked free close to the railway station. In most other locations this stair will look strange, but in Teruel it is just right.

Drive to the top and walk down then make your way back up via the side streets caught between light and shade. If you love the historic Moorish crossover there are delights to discover here! Stay the night and explore in the morning light.
