This is a small cathedral but is well worth the 3 euro entrance fee (2 for concessions) because of three first rate features. Firstly the mudejar ceiling over the nave enjoys world heritage status - as does the cathedral tower (under restoration when we visited)....More

This beautiful cathedral appears modest for Spanish standards but look above and the ceiling is amazing. The side chapels are more ornate and the peace within is uplifting.

Step inside the cathedral after paying entrance (3 euros which also covers the next door museum) and the heat of the street is replaced by a cool, calm and reflective atmosphere. Lovely building with alabaster panels at the top of the knave letting in a...More

If you're visiting Teruel, this is one of the places to include on your must see list. In common with much of the town, it was probably damaged during the Civil War siege, but you'd never know.

And I really mean it. The mudejar-style ceiling is unique in the world. It combines beautiful polychromatic scenes of animals, plants and people with Arab and Christian writings. What a great piece of art! And not only that. What makes it truly remarkable is the...More

Dating from the Middle Ages, the cathedral possesses a Mudejar tower - one of 3 in the old city. Definitely worth the small price of admission.
