Mijas would be such a pleasant place to visit if the didn’t have the donkeys, instead I had all 3 of my children in tears as you can actually see how depressed the donkeys are and how tightly bound they are so they can’t move....More

It's all well and good people making a living but when you see depressed, frustrated donkeys standing for hours and hours at a time, no water nearby, no grass to stand on just the concrete ground near a shed that they live in, you wonder...More

It's not cheap 15e for a fifteen minute donkey taxi. Having said that, it is a bit of fun and apparently when the road works have finished you will get a longer ride!

First of all Mijas is a very small town. Even though there are so hills to climb the Burro-Taxi is not the way to go. It is very expensive as you pay about 20 euro's for a 15 to 20 minute ride. It is not...More

How good is this. These donkeys are amazing and well looked after. They take you on a 20 min tour of the town and it's a unique experience.

A must while in Mijas, but total time too short for the price. Price was 10 euro for only a 10 minute ride. Previous years has been longer.

it is a total rip off- 15 eur for a ride of 500 meters thanks to the excuse that there were roadworks in the Mjias town - it is better to avoid it and take a walk

Due to current civil works in Mijas the trip by donkey is cut by half but they continue to ask the same 10€ from the "giris". Insist on a double round!

Unfortunately when we were in Mijas there was a lot of civil engineering work going on in the streets and squares so the route taken by the horse drawn carriages and donkeys were a bit limited. At 20 Euros for 20 minutes or so, it...More

It's now 2017 and still going on! Outrageous, outdated and cruel! DO NOT use them!
