Multiple points of interest intersect here (bull ring, church, entrance one end/exit the other for the botanical garden) and there is a reasonably priced snack stand. True one can stand on the plaza out of the way of the cars, but it is more a...More

This plaza in Mijas is surrounded by beautiful restaurants, tourists shops located above the plaza over a balustrade. Paths leading up to views looking over the local countryside and mountains, gardens, ancient church, bull ring and cafe.

We stayed at a CLC complex and they had a Bus Trip to Mijas, it was wonderful. Went on a tour round the town on Horse and carriage, such a beautiful place compared to where we stayed.

This is a very old, small, typical Spanish town and just wonderful, so glad we made the turn up the hill to visit here.

Really easy to get to by car, parking is free in some areas but mutistory is only €1 for the day. Mijas is a beautiful and clean area with loads of little streets and paths to explore, lovely restaurants and authentic Spanish gift shops.
