My husband and I like a good walk and thought we'd try the Picos de Mijas as the guide reviews were good and we had tried lots of the coastal walks. I would say at this point that we are 69 & 73 years old...More

Loved visiting Mijas, beautiful little town with lovely shops and restaurants. I enjoyed visiting the disused bull ring and learning about the Spainish tradition. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Spain to visit Mijas mountains.

Yes, a bit touristy, but nevertheless plenty to see and do whether you choose the walks or just stay in the village. Well worth a visit.

You can choose how much or little walking you do , but ensure good walking shoes. Definitely worth the visit ; and less than 2 euros on the bus to get there. You can see the whole coastline - very well worth the trip.
