She is so knowledgable about the wines and history. Funny stories. Really enjoys engaging with tourists and very kind. I had a great time on this wine cellar tour! Book the group with Ines!

We did the English tour. Firstly the tour group is just too big. The guide told us nothing about the history of the actual company. She also explained the port making process too quickly. I have been to Sandeman and found that tour way more...More

Couldn’t really hear the girl giving the commentary. She needs a microphone. Also dumped at the table with 2 glasses in front of us. Expected tasting notes or something similar but she disappeared. Maybe too busy. Ok but not over-inspiring.

Interesting tour and sample a couple wines, not too long too so it is an ideal short activity while in porto.

If you only have a short time and or looking for an experience skip the others and go to Calem for your tasting. Limited number of people so the attention is much more personal and therefore more informative. They also have "snacks" that enhance /...More

Stopped to sample a couple of drinks on the way back from an afternoon wander round Gaia. Great, attentive service, unlike at a big name port house with a big terrace up the road, and a great selection by the glass. Particularly enjoyed the Lagrima,...More

While in Porto, visiting a Port wine cellar is almost a given! I'd only went to one Port cellar so I can't compare to the other cellars on Villa Nova du Gaia side of the River. What I can say is Calem caves is beautifully...More

I think it is worth doing. I think we were in the building for about 90 minutes. There’s an interactive educational area before you go in for the tour and there were young children in thee who seemed entertained. There... More
