Excellent wine tour, reasonable price, Horacio was our guide and was very nice, friendly and professional, very knowledgeable. You expend around an hour here. Don't miss it. I highly recommend it.

The tour is pretty much the same as in any other place, the only difference is the projections here and there to explain the process. It’s better if done in the end with the Fado night, even if the tour is a faster one.

An insightful tour of the cellars and a great taster at the end. Perhaps they could add cheese or chocolate. Recommend the 3 Port selection.

We had a lovely and informative tour through the Cálem cellars. Our tour guide was fun and enthusiastic and made it very enjoyable. Highly recommend the premium tasting - well worth the extra cost to taste the better Ports.

Stopped here for a port tour in English on an afternoon. It was a very well done museum and 30 minute tour and tasting. We paid a little extra to taste 3 ports and were glad we did; white, ruby and tawny were delightful.

Calem’s visitor center is excellent. It is very well done, with great graphics and a very balanced content that is accesible to people with limited wine experience while still providing significant knowledge. The 3D model of the Duoro Valley is very nice. Loved to see...More

Not my first tour, but definately the best so far. Leonardo, the guide, set the perfect example of how smooth someone can be. Very entertaining and still informative. I did the "2 Vine Tasting", i'll be back to do the "3 Vine Tasting" soon :)

We booked this particular Port wine your because it was closer to where we were staying. It was not a tour - rather a lecture from a tour guide who droned on and on and on, while we stood amidst the wine barrels. Another tour...More

We went to Calem as our first wine stop in Porto and were very impressed. The museum and tour were the perfect amount of information, presenting in a compelling manner. The tour included two wine tastings; both were great. Highly recommend a visit.

Porto is quite famous for it's Port wine so visiting one of the very many port caves on the banks of the Douro river is a must. I opted for Calem having sampled a glass or two of their produce sitting in the warm afternoon...More

I think it is worth doing. I think we were in the building for about 90 minutes. There’s an interactive educational area before you go in for the tour and there were young children in thee who seemed entertained. There... More

You don't need reservations but if you are on a tight schedule it's better to do so!
