There are two fabulous Alberto Burri museums in Citta di Castello. His earlier works are displayed in the Palazzo Albizzini and his later works in Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco, and industrial complex originally used to dry tobacco. The Burri collection warrants a day's visit.

Saw the ads at Perugia Airport, so decided to go to visit. The ex-Seccatoi is a stupendous space, kind of like the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall, only 5 times over. Great for showing Burri's work. Ashamed to say I'd not heard of him, but feeling...More

A great exhibition. It worths the trip from everywhere in the world. Where Italy is leading the culture. Visit also the Essiccatoi del tabacco where the big works of Burri are on display.
