This is a must, a visit to the thermal gardens right on there beach at Forio. You can easily spend the whole day, between the 20 pools ranging up to 28 degree's, sun terraces, restaurants and best beach on Ischia. The whole experience was wonderful.

The entry fee is expensive so I would suggest spending all day here. Also takes over an hour to get here by bus or we took 40 mins by taxi ($45 Euro one way) from the main ferry port. Lots of people so expect crowds...More

You can get a hydrofoil to Forio from Beverello, then get the bus or a taxi to the gardens which are just on the other side of town - possibly less stressful than from ischia port. Taxis are generally €15 minimum.

It's about a half an hour drive from the port when you get the ferry. We did everything via minivan so I don't know what public transport is like to get there
